Types Of Services Offered:

  • Using Proposed plans and specifications we model the home as is and then offer different upgrade packages and scenarios to achieve the ESNH initiative. This service will include a final on-site air leakage test as well as an optional pre-drywall air leakage test to ensure target Air change per hour will be met
  • When built to the latest standard, an ENERGY STAR certified home is built to be about 20% more energy efficient than a typical home.

Using proposed plans and specifications we can predict the energy efficiency of the home through house modeling.

Total Home Solutions conducts 8-point testing of Single Family Detached dwellings, townhomes, buildings and units to ensure the air tightness of the structure being tested. We can also offer the use of infrared photos to better identify air leakage points.

Using proposed plans and specifications we model the home to Natural Resources Canada’s EnerGuide Rating system standards. This service will include administration of files and documentation to NRCan as well as an EnerGuide Label and Report detailing the homes Energy Consumption. This service will include an on-site air leakage test as well as an optional Pre-drywall air leakage test.

  • All new homes – single family homes, two family homes, and their secondary suites (Part 9 residential buildings in the Vancouver Building Bylaw) – must be designed for energy efficiency.
  • THS will model homes using EnerGuide and HOT2000 models, perform pre drywall and final air leakage tests
  • Visual verifications before your insulation and final inspections to ensure installation of the energy model’s components
